Welcome to 2012

Happy New Year!!

I wanted to do a little blog piece about my plans for 2012, So here it is!

First I am planning to take part in the 365 project be taking one photograph a day
I will try and post most of them on here but I know i'll probably only end up doing a monthly round up post, so sorry in advance.
I will post them all daily onto Instagram my name is @cariadclay so take a look :)

Another thing I always mean do do every new year is start a journal, I never do :(
but while procrastinating on pinterest (again) I cam across this blog and wonderful idea

Basically you just get a box or old fruit box, some postcards or 12 pictures to divide each month and some index cards for the days then write a small line on each card each day, then flip it to the back of the box and continue each year until you run out of lines :)
in a few years it'll be a joy to read back each day as you write a new one :)

so here is my box

It's not so cute as an old fruit box but a lot more sturdy lol and it needs to be to survive in my house :)
it's just a plain black index box from Paperchase but i've added one of my own buttons

Just to make it mine :)

Have a lovely year all x
